The English texts come from the official English versions published by the European Union (EU) on EUR-Lex, the United Kingdom (UK) on GOV.UK and UK Parliament, and Gibraltar (the Acts and legal notices that change Gibraltar's law for the treaty, from Gibraltar Laws and the Gibraltar Gazette, and Gibraltar Parliament records: Hansard, Bills and Command Papers), plus HM Government of Gibraltar and European Commission press releases where a statement is quoted. Where a text exists only in Spanish (BOE), we quote it in Spanish and say so, and any translation beside it is ours.

Reading everything on this site, and plain search, are free for everyone. You do not need to sign up. Reading needs nothing from you. If you ask a question, run a check, use a form or ask for removal, the site keeps a short-lived count, tied to a scrambled form of your network address, to limit use (see the privacy notice). A form also keeps what you type in it, as its own notice says.
AI answers are open to everyone, with no sign-up. Each visitor can get up to 2 free AI answers a day on this site, until the daily limit for everyone is reached. When they are used up you can still search and read everything.
The privacy notice lists everything that is kept. For AI answers, this includes a count of the free AI answers you have used today, tied to a scrambled form of your network address, not the address itself, for up to two days. Answers are also kept for 30 days against a scrambled form of the question, not linked to you, and a count of requests is kept for about two hours. AI answers do not ask for an email address. Once payments start, records of payments are kept for as long as the law requires, and this page will say so.
Credit for more AI answers or extras cannot be bought yet. When it can, one balance will be shared across Ugo Exchange and this site. At zero credit you can still search and read everything.
